Starting on the outskirts of Balboa Park, this urban-nature adventure covers 3.5 to 4 miles over 2 hours on well-maintained city trails, and while you'll cross two scenic footbridges, there are no steep hills to climb. It's a relaxing, picturesque walk past the area's beautiful wildflowers, cacti, palms and bamboo forests. Plus, you'll get a great view of architecturally stunning homes of the nearby neighborhood to boot.
