Hot Diggity Dog (and cat and fish and bird)! Whether you've got a furry friend, a scaly sidekick or a feathered flock, we all agree that pets rock! They bring joy, laughter, and a whole lot of love into our lives. They're our snuggle buddies, our adventure partners, and our loyal companions. This summer we'll celebrate the special bonds between humans and their pets. Join us as we turn the dog days of summer into the cat's meow with thrilling rides, challenging games, mouth-watering food, incredible exhibits, and top-notch entertainment at our Summer Pet-tacular!

Sensory Friendly Mornings offer a welcoming environment for families who benefit from a sensory-friendly experience and a quieter setting. During these special hours, the Museum opens with adjusted sound and lighting, fewer visitors, and designated sensory-break zones. Our interactive art installations are available with modifications to support diverse sensory needs, calming spaces, and optional noise-reducing headphones. Trained staff are on-site to support families and ensure a comfortable experience for all.

Due to limited capacity, advance registration is highly encouraged. Guests may stay and enjoy the Museum for the remainder of the day. Regular admission and parking rates apply.

Our favorite culinary event of the season, Taste of Little Italy will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 and Wednesday, June 18, 2025 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Join us both nights, and make your way through 48-square-blocks sampling some of the best bites and sips our beautiful neighborhood has to offer. Each evening will showcase different restaurants, each just as delicious as the last.

Upon arrival, attendees will check-in at the Piazza della Famiglia and receive a Taste Passport. Guests will then make their way to each restaurant stop, taking away their “tastes” to enjoy at their leisure. If you would prefer to sit and enjoy your treats, seating will be available at the Piazza della Famiglia as well as live music at Piazza della Famiglia and Piazza Basilone.
