Santa arrives via the Ferry at the Coronado Ferry Landing, a festive parade follows down Orange Avenue and Santa lights the Christmas Tree in Rotary Plaza.
The City of Coronado Visitor Center is your first stop when visiting the Island. Come in for complimentary maps, guides, tour information, discount tickets, brochures and directions. We also have a team of knowledgeable Ambassadors to provide personalized service 7 days a week.
The Visitor Center is in the landmark Historical Association building, a historically-designated site, right in the center of downtown. Inside the Visitor Center is the Coronado Museum of History and Art. Here you can take an interactive look at Coronado's colorful past, its long association with aviation and with the military, the renowned Hotel del Coronado, and changing exhibits about Coronado culture and history.
There also is the Museum Store that sells unique items.
