Carruth Cellars, San Diego’s largest urban winery, has been bringing grapes to the people since 2006. Each bottle of Carruth Cellars wine starts with the highest quality grapes sourced from premium vineyards in Northern and Central California, and Willamette Valley in Oregon. As soon as the grapes are harvested, they are loaded on temperature controlled trucks and immediately transported to our Solana Beach urban winery — just blocks from the beach and steps from the Coaster train stations — where we destem, crush, ferment, age and bottle all of our award-winning wines.
Our urban winery and tasting room in Solana Beach, tasting room in Carlsbad, and tasting room and wine garden in Little Italy are open 7 days a week for you to visit and enjoy.
At Carruth Cellars, we focus our efforts on sourcing the best grapes we can find and infusing each bottle of wine with love & gratitude. Whether it's one of our "Pay it Forward Bottles," of which a portion of proceeds are donated to a charitable cause, or our Wine Club that feels like a family, we strive to provide a community where neighbors can get to know one another. After all, wine is better when shared with friends!
