Anyone who strolls the quaint town will agree, as the island’s main street, Orange Avenue, features wide, pedestrian-friendly sidewalks and stretches all the way from the Hotel Del Coronado at one end to the San Diego Bay at the other.

Moseying down this iconic street, you’ll discover delightful mom-and-pop shops, classic cafes such as Night and Day (which opened in 1927), as well as Central Drug Store and Holland’s Bicycles, some of the city’s oldest businesses.
