Your one-stop guide to the many ways you can enjoy sports & entertainment at Snapdragon Stadium.
Snapdragon Stadium is a beautiful new, 35,000-seat multipurpose venue owned by San Diego State University and managed by OVG360. It's part of SDSU Mission Valley, a vibrant community that when built out will include a 400-room hotel, 40,000 square feet of meeting and conference space, 80-plus acres of outdoor recreation space and much more.
Opened in September 2022, Snapdragon is home to SDSU Aztec Football, the San Diego Wave FC of the National Women's Soccer League and the San Diego Legion of Major League Rugby. In addition to tenant events, Snapdragon Stadium hosts a myriad of events, including concerts, festivals, dirt shows, international sporting competitions, championships, community events and more. In all, the stadium is expected to host more than 300 events a year, and it boasts seven premium event spaces with capacities of up to 500. Snapdragon Stadium is also designed to achieve LEED Gold certification, and has made sustainability a top priority.
Snapdragon Stadium is situated in the heart of Mission Valley, just a short walk from the Stadium station on the Trolley's Green Line, allowing attendees to avoid the hassles of traffic and parking. Trolley service runs every 15 minutes or faster before and after most events, with added service for some larger events.
Snapdragon Stadium has about 6,200 on-site parking spots, and passes may be purchased in advance. There are also overflow lots at both the Hazard Center shopping plaza and on the SDSU campus, with stadium access via the trolley.
The stadium has paid ADA parking stalls available on a first-come, first-served basis. The Green Lot — located directly to the north of Snapdragon — is the primary parking location for accessible parking.
Snapdragon Stadium also has bike racks located at the Northwest and Northeast gates, and along the east side of the stadium.
Sports and entertainment event tickets may be purchased at the Snapdragon Stadium box office in person, online or via SDSU Athletics, Wave FC and Legion.
Snapdragon Stadium boasts clean sight lines, large open spaces and plenty of varied seating and standing-room areas from which to enjoy games and concerts. Its design and dimensions translate to great views from the Upper Concourse as well as the Main Concourse.
With a spotlight on San Diego's robust food and craft-beverage palate, Snapdragon Stadium is home to 10 inaugural hospitality partners with deep ties to the San Diego community. Batch & Box, Best Pizza and Brew, Cali BBQ, The Crack Shack, Everbowl, Gaglione Brothers, Hodad's, Sandbar, Tarantino's, and The Taco Stand are all featured food partners, providing unparalleled dining options. The stadium's food-and-beverage experience strives to model a "community of communities."
