The Julian StarFest will once again grace the dark skies of the Menghini Winery in Julian. The JSF Committee is working hard to ensure the festival includes many of the same activities as in the past. Camping At Starfest On-site, overnight Camping at the 2024 Julian StarFest will be available on two nights: Friday, August 2, and Saturday, August 3. Grounds will open at noon on Friday. Everyone must be packed up and off the Winery grounds by 11:00 am on Sunday.

The Qualcomm Institute at UC San Diego, in partnership with Resilience Studios, Epic Games, Lenovo, and Meta, has put together two unique opportunities to learn the building blocks for developing an XR game for the Meta Quest 3 and Snapdragon Spaces Lenovo headsets.

Students from UC San Diego’’s course, Serious Games for Climate Change, will also be showcasing the games they have made using UE5 to inspire your gameplay.
