Mission Fed ArtWalk will be marking its 36th annual fine arts festival with a virtual experience beginning Saturday, December 5 through Thursday, December 31.
This month-long arts and culture experience will feature around 100 local, national and international artists including both familiar faces and new creatives. Hosted on one convenient platform, attendees will have the opportunity to purchase one-of-a-kind art directly from the creators while enjoying a selection of videos created by the artists discussing their creative process. A celebration of both visual and performing arts, Mission Fed ArtWalk Virtual Edition will kick off with a broadcast with opening statements by Debra Schwartz, CEO of Mission Federal Credit Union, followed by a selection of performances. There is something for all ages, including an art activity for kids led by ArtReach San Diego, a nonprofit organization aimed at increasing equity in visual arts education in K-8 schools throughout San Diego County by delivering free or low-cost workshops to schools that have no other resources for art. Attendees can browse the art collection and purchase art directly through the virtual platform throughout the month.
