So-Cal's Oldest Winery, 25 minutes from Downtown!

Step back in time to the oldest producing winery in Southern California, where wine, family and old world hospitality come together. Family owned and operated by the Rizzo family for three generations, the Bernardo Winery offers wines grown, pressed and bottled in San Diego since 1889.  Bernardo Specializes in regional varietals such as Petite Syrah, Syrah, Sangiovese, Albarino, Viognier and Zinfandel.

The Bernardo Winery is open Wednesday- Saturday from 11-8 and Sunday 11-6, closed Mondays and Tuesdays. The winery has a wine tasting room, The Kitchen restaurant with fresh Italian fare, unique village shops, all surrounded by the rustic charm of the winery grounds and gardens.
