A beautiful area of rolling hills and winding roads, San Diego's North County Inland region is an exceptional place to spend time outdoors. Hike or bike to the top of Palomar Mountain, or golf at over 40 courses carved out of the natural landscape. Spend an afternoon at one of the local wineries or on a craft beer tour at one of the many local breweries that enliven this area. And no trip to San Diego would be complete without a visit to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park in Escondido, where you can venture to Africa and Asia without leaving Southern California.
