    George Clinton is a musician, singer-songwriter, and record producer from North Carolina whose Parliament-Funkadelic collective became popular during the 1970s by blending sci-fi, psychedelia, surreal humor, and outlandish fashion in their funk music. He and his group won a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2019.
