Unique Ways to See the Sights

From a bus that changes to a boat and back again or a sea voyage in search of the world's largest mammal, San Diego tours offer a unique way to see the sights and get to know the area.

San Diego is a vast region, and whether on land or at sea, a tour with a knowledgeable guide is a great way for the whole family to get acclimated and cover more ground.

SEAL - Sea and Land Adventures

Old Town Trolley Tours' SEAL - Sea and Land Adventures tour provides a 90-minute land and water adventure aboard a 40-foot long vessel that begins as a bus ride through downtown San Diego, providing guests with magnificent views of downtown San Diego, and ending at Shelter Island, where the "bus" changes into a "boat" for a narrated excursion of the Big Bay.

America's Cup Sailing San Diego

With America's Cup Sailing San Diego, you can be part of the crew or just relax while others hoist the sails during an exciting 3-hour ride aboard the Stars and Stripes USA-11, the yacht raced by Dennis Conner during the 1992 America's Cup in San Diego.

Whale Watching

From December through April, a whale watching cruise provides an up-close view as California gray whales migrate between Alaska and Baja Mexico. During the peak migration season in mid-January, as many as 200 whales per day have been counted off of San Diego's shores. Giant blue whales often feed off the coast of San Diego during summer months as well.

San Diego Speed Boat Adventures

A guided and narrated San Diego Harbor Tour with a twist. Great for families as you pair up in twos and race each other. Kids older than 16 can drive the boat too! You are able to navigate and captain your own speedboat for the entirety of the tour while following our trained and knowledgeable guides to experience the best of both worlds - the thrill of driving your own mini speedboat and the safety of having a skilled guide introduce you to the beauty of San Diego Harbor.
