  • Room night demand remained steady this week with 163,313 room nights sold throughout San Diego County.
  • Weekend nights outperformed weekdays, with Friday and Saturday night demand reaching 25,000 and 27,500 room nights, respectively. Weekday demand hovered around 22,500 room nights Monday through Thursday. 
  • Mission Valley was the only region to have a meaningful rise in demand from week prior, gaining 2,000 more room nights sold this week.
  • County occupancy averaged 37.1%, ranking San Diego 12th among top markets and 3rd in the western competitive set (behind Phoenix 50.3% and Los Angeles 45.4%).
  • Top performing regions remain unchanged with South/East County properties averaging 61.8% occupancy, Northeast/Escondido at 54.7%, and Mission Valley at 46.2%.
  • County ADR was $99 this week, ranking San Diego 8th among top markets and 4th in the western comp set (behind Los Angeles $111, Phoenix $107, and San Francisco $105).
  • Regions with highest ADR continue with La Jolla Coastal at $182, Mission Bay at $136, and Downtown at $117.
  • RevPAR was $37, ranking San Diego 7th among top markets and 3rd in the western comp set (behind Phoenix $54 and Los Angeles $50).
