Beethoven by the Bay

Beethoven's powerful music fills the open air at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park with the San Diego Symphony performing his Piano Concerto No. 5, known as the “Emperor.” Pianist Parker Van Ostrand brings the concerto's noble themes and dazzling finale to life alongside the orchestra. The program also includes Beethoven's Overture to Egmont and Symphony No. 4, making for a rich evening of classical music.
