Boundless

Boundless: Reflections of the Southern California Landscapes in Midcentury Studio Ceramics explores how the physical, social, and political landscapes of Southern California shaped craft. The exhibition features nearly 150 objects from Mingei’s permanent collection, set against large-scale photography to evoke the landscapes reflected in the ceramics. It celebrates mid-twentieth century ceramics through the science of clay, glaze, and fire.
