Chateau Montelena Judgement of Paris 50th Anniversary Celebration

Guests are invited to the Fairmont Grand Del Mar for an exclusive wine dinner celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Judgment of Paris, part of the Del Mar Wine + Food Festival. The evening showcases the iconic wines of Chateau Montelena, the Napa Valley winery whose Chardonnay famously bested France's finest at the 1976 Paris tasting, and is hosted by Ernie Hahn and the Hahn family, who helped the Barrett family revive the winery into one of America's premier wine producers. Each course pairs Chateau Montelena selections with cuisine from acclaimed Aspen based Chef Mawa McQueen (James Beard Best of the West winner) and Fairmont Grand Del Mar Executive Chef Bryn McArthur, as guests celebrate five decades of winemaking history with legendary wines and inspired cuisine.
