W.A.S.P. is a heavy metal band from Los Angeles formed in 1982. Consisting of four members, it gained notoriety with its shock rock appearance and lyrics. Their most popular singles include "I Wanna Be Somebody," "Wild Child" and "Sleeping (In The Fire)."
