2026 LEGO Festival Summer Fun at LEGOLAND

LEGO® Festival returns to LEGOLAND® California in Carlsbad, in North County Coastal, from July 20 through Aug. 30, 2026, bringing families a playful summer day trip filled with hands-on activities, creative challenges and interactive fun, including LEGO® Pokémon™ in the Play Zone and newly announced LEGO® Pokémon™ SMART Play™ sets.

LEGO Festival invites families to explore five interactive zones filled with hands-on building, live entertainment, character moments and photo-worthy LEGO® models. Guests can use their festival wristband and map to discover each area, collect stamps and take part in the 3 Build Challenge for a chance to receive a 3-in-1 LEGO® Creator gift, while supplies last.

Five LEGO Festival Zones

• Music Zone: Enjoy the “Battle of the Bands” show, sing along with Rockstars and Popstars, help build a large festival mosaic, find selfie-ready LEGO models and meet characters including Melody Raye and Lyric Santos after the show.
• Creative Zone: Build at The Creatureverse tables, join Master Model Builder sessions such as “The Anything Animal” and “Let’s Create a Creature,” and take photos with the festival LEGO® Panda and LEGO® Peacock.
• Chill-Out Zone: Relax in a quieter, garden-inspired space with LEGO® Botanicals “Build & Bloom,” where guests can build a LEGO Botanicals flower for a growing display, see LEGO brick butterflies and bugs, meet a Gardener LEGO model and enjoy the “Playtime with Hopsy” stage show.
• Thrill Zone: Look for a sports-themed, high-energy experience planned for 2026.
• Play Zone: Power up in an “ultimate gaming fan zone” experience to be announced.

Pokémon fans can step into the Play Zone for a hands-on LEGO® Pokémon™ experience that brings Trainer adventures to life. Families will be among the first to see the LEGO® Pokémon™ SMART Play™ system in action before new sets arrive in August.

• Bond with, nurture and train a selection of five Pokémon through interactive activities
• Visit the Nurture area to build a snack, add a SMART tag and see how each Pokémon reacts.
• Build and display a LEGO® Poké Ball.
• Take part in the LEGO® Pokémon™: Trainer Center to learn how to nurture, train and battle with Pokémon.
• Snap a photo with a giant LEGO® Pikachu model during LEGO Festival.
