We are open to the public 7 days a week from 10AM to 5PM. We are only closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Days.

You can purchase your tickets at the entrance or on the website at sanctuaryandfarm.org.

No admission necessary to purchase our biologically grown fruits and vegetables.

This magical and serene farm, with its 20 acres of terrain, is a safe haven for over 200+ domesticated livestock and exotic animals from around the world.
The farm is specifically designed to help children and adults alike develop a sense of wonder for nature and its inhabitants through unstructured exploration and learning.

Fun and educational “interactive encounters” are available for everyone to learn and foster an appreciation for animals, nature, sustainable farming, and the ecosystem.

Our Vision

Here at the San Diego Animal Sanctuary and Farm, we want to provide children and their families access to animals, nature and the environment. In our increasingly digital dependent and urbanized world our children are losing touch with nature. With this in mind, we believe the farm offers guests a deep sense of connection to the earth.

At the heart of the farm are our animals. With more than 200 domesticated livestock and exotic animals from around the world, you will discover 30 species and 70 different breeds. Many of our animals have been acquired from owners who can no longer keep or care for them, while some have been rescued from extremely harsh living conditions. These magnificent creatures will now live out the rest of their lives at the farm to be very well taken care of and loved.

Guests have an opportunity to feed, touch and visit with our animals up-close as they roam in their habitat. They can buy farm fresh produce and in the Fall walk our Pumpkin Patch and buy their pumpkins!

For more information, you can visit SanctuaryAndFarm.org or contact us at (619)320-4942 or email us at [email protected]
