The latest venture from Carruth Cellars, San Diego's largest urban winery, is the Wine Garden in Little Italy. An oasis amongst the hustle and bustle of one of San Diego's busiest culinary neighborhoods, the Carruth Cellars Wine Garden offers a full tasting room on Kettner Blvd as well as a secluded outdoor patio complete with potted plants and flowers, lanterns, and a relaxed ambiance.
Guests can order wine by the glass, bottle, or choose from prix fixe flights. Craft beer and kombucha are also on tap. In addition to the award-winning Carruth Cellars wines, hand selected cheese pairings and charcuterie are available nightly. Wine-sippers can also enjoy freshly baked pizzas from the woodfired oven that dons the patio.
Carruth Cellars, San Diego's largest urban winery, has been bringing grapes to the people since 2006. Each bottle of Carruth Cellars wine starts with the highest quality grapes sourced from premium vineyards in Northern and Central California, and Willamette Valley in Oregon. As soon as the grapes are harvested, they are loaded on temperature controlled trucks and immediately transported to our Solana Beach urban winery — just blocks from the beach and steps from the Coaster train stations — where we destem, crush, ferment, age and bottle all of our award-winning wines.
