A4LSD’s depth and variety of artists, represent a cross-section of world cultures. We present 1,500+ programs a year to 66,000+ in 23 school districts across the county. A4LSD's programs uplift, inspire and motivate tens of thousands of students annually. Arts learning - whether a performance by a brass quintet, jazz quartet or storyteller or an after-school artist residency in dance - enriches students academically and socially. Our classroom and after-school artist residencies instill self-discipline and persistence, develop teamwork, build empathy and increase critical thinking skills.
