Your City Block - in San Diego's East Village

Quartyard is an Urban Park constructed from repurposed shipping containers in the East Village Neighborhood of Downtown San Diego.

What was once an 11, 000 square foot vacant lot is now an eco-friendly outdoor community space, home to a coffee shop, restaurant, beer garden, music venue, and public art space. Open 5 days a week, Quartyard plays host to a number of cultural events from farmers markets to film festivals and outdoor concerts.

Quartyard's utilization of sustainable and innovative design offers San Diegans and visitors alike a unique outdoor experience unlike any currently available.

Craft Beer Garden

At last San Diego finally has a place to enjoy two of its most beloved attributes… perfect weather and craft beer. Open 5 days a week, The Quartyard Craft Beer Garden provides an outdoor commonplace for locals and visitors to gather and celebrate an array of craft beer and cocktails.

El Comal at Quartyard

Award winning restaurant, El Comal, offers a wide variety of authentic Mexican cuisne. Enjoy tacos, burritos, tamals, and more!

Art

We search far and wide for local and international urban artists to lend their craft to beautify our venue. Rotating art installations will keep your selfie game strong and your inspiration game stronger.

Seahorse Coffee

Seahorse Coffee is the resident caffeine purveyor of Quartyard. Employee's turned owners after the move, Ashley & Chris, continue to provide something as simple as coffee in an unconventional, inviting and genuine form. Folks come back time and time again for the caffeine fix, and linger for the company.
