SeaWorld San Diego offers a range of fun and educational summer camps, including weeklong day camps, resident camps, and overnight group trips to enhance educational programs. Our well-trained counselors provide an exciting week of laughter and learning.
Kids of all ages can enjoy summer fun at SeaWorld San Diego Summer Camps, with activities like interacting with animals and getting behind-the-scenes insights into their care and training. Resident campers work with SeaWorld's animal trainers, keepers, and veterinarians to learn about training and caring for the animals they encounter. Campers on an overnight group trip also get to experience a one-of-a-kind sleep over with turtles, beluga whales, and penguins.
Week-Long Summer Day Camps:
SeaWorld San Diego's Summer Day Camp offers five-day sessions from Monday to Friday, running from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on select weeks from June to August. These camps provide fun and educational experiences with a focus on superior safety standards and low counselor-to-camper ratios. Caring and well-trained counselors ensure campers enjoy an action-packed week filled with laughter and learning. The summer camp includes visits to animal encounters, games, crafts, songs, active hands-on learning, and access to SeaWorld attractions and presentations.
Week-Long Resident and Career Camps:
Immerse yourself in the world of aquatic life and become an expert through the Resident Camp and Career Camp, which offer hands-on experiences in animal care careers, offsite excursions, interactions with a bottlenose dolphin, and meetings with veterinarians, and the Rescue Team, while also enjoying park rides, presentations, and attractions. This 5-day program runs from 11:00 a.m. on Sunday to 10:00 a.m. on Friday during select weeks from June through August. Participants in this program are provided all necessary food and lodging in addition to the camp activities.
Sleepovers for Schools, Scouts & Youth Groups:
Scouting for adventure? A SeaWorld overnight outing provides fun and adventure while exploring nature up-close. Not only is a sleepover loads of fun and easy to organize, but you get to sleep next to amazing ocean animals. Each sleepover includes complimentary admission for the following day. Enjoy the park’s presentations, rides, and animal attractions as a park guest the day after your program.
