Oktoberfests

Founded in early-1800s Germany to honor the country's royal family, the original Oktoberfest is now mostly a reason for millions of people to descend on Munich each fall to drink, eat and be very merry. Munich's Oktoberfest may have more than 200 years on our own celebration here in San Diego, but that doesn't mean we don't know how to throw a party! Here's where you can chug a hefty stein of lager, chow down on a bratwurst and oom-pah-pah to your heart's content.

Craftoberfest

When: Sept. 19 - 28, 2025
Whether you’re here for the pours, the plates, or the playful competition, we’ve got you covered. Expect daily brewery features, market-wide specials, and a packed schedule of games, tastings, and live entertainment—plus a few surprises along the way.

East Village Oktoberfest

When: Sept. 20, 2025
Channeling the spirit of Oktoberfest in Munich while adding a signature San Diego twist, this one-day celebration will be packed with craft beer, festive food, live music, and cultural flair.

Encinitas Oktoberfest

When: Sept. 28, 2025

Oktoberfest in El Cajon

Join us for two full weekends of authentic German celebrations with Oktoberfest in El Cajon - hosted by the German American Societies of San Diego, Inc. This event is located at 1017 S Mollison in El Cajon.

San Diego Oktoberfest Party Cruise

When: Oct. 3, 2025
Embark on a thrilling Oktoberfest party cruise on Mission Bay! Sip on festive beers while savoring delicious Bavarian-inspired bites such as a bratwurst station and a giant pretzel with mustard dip and beer cheese. 

La Mesa Oktoberfest

Ocean Beach Oktoberfest

When: Oct. 10 - 11, 2025
Join the Ocean Beach MainStreet Association and celebrate the OB Oktoberfest while enjoying a beer with a view of the Pacific Ocean in the beer garden, and of course, Dine, Shop, Play & Stay in Ocean Beach for the weekend!

Carlsbad Oktoberfest

When: Oct. 20, 2025
