October 23, 2025
The San Diego Tourism Authority (SDTA) announced today the addition of Krysteena Meredith as National Sales Director on the organization’s Hotel Sales Team.
In her new role, Meredith will manage SDTA’s existing client base in Southern California while leveraging her extensive network across Orange County and Los Angeles to cultivate new group business for San Diego. Working remotely, she will play a key role in driving hotel sales and expanding partnerships within these high-value markets.
“We couldn’t be more excited to have Krysteena Meredith join the San Diego Tourism Authority Hotel Sales Team,” said Letty Canizalez, Vice President of Sales. “Her reputation, relationships, and enthusiasm for our destination will help us continue building strong partnerships and welcoming even more business to San Diego.”
With more than 17 years of hotel operations and sales experience, Meredith brings a wealth of industry expertise and a deep passion for hospitality. Most recently, she represented nine Las Vegas properties with Caesars Entertainment. Her career also includes sales roles at Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa, Bahia Hotel Resort, Hilton Del Mar, and Temecula Creek Inn.
“Selling San Diego as a destination feels like a homecoming, and I could not be any more excited to be coming home,” Meredith said of her new position. A respected industry leader, Meredith currently serves as President of the SITE SoCal Chapter for 2025, one of the organization’s largest and most active chapters — a milestone she calls one of her proudest professional achievements.
The San Diego Tourism Authority is thrilled to welcome Meredith to the team as it continues to champion San Diego as a premier destination for group meetings, conventions, and leisure travel.
