The SDTA Tourism Accelerator: Community Impact
The San Diego Tourism Authority’s Tourism Accelerator — the first program of its kind — is dedicated to engaging and empowering diverse communities by opening doors to opportunities within San Diego’s travel and hospitality industry. Over the course of a year, participants receive complimentary SDTA membership, education, and networking opportunities. With a focus on small businesses owned by individuals from underrepresented groups and communities, the program provides tailored resources and connections to help them thrive and build stronger ties within the local tourism economy.
The San Diego Tourism Authority is committed to advancing an inclusive and thriving tourism industry in San Diego. Through our award-winning Tourism Accelerator program, we support small businesses owned by women, veterans, people of color, LGBTQ+, people with disabilities, and other types of underrepresented groups, to tap into the tourism industry and elevate their businesses to the next level.
