The Big Bay Boom July 4th Fireworks Show is back, promising another spectacular display over San Diego Bay. Fireworks will be discharged simultaneously from barges placed strategically around the Bay off Shelter Island, Harbor Island, Embarcadero North, Seaport Village, Embarcadero South Marina Park and Coronado Ferry Landing. The impeccably choreographed display will last approximately 17 minutes.
More than 850,000 people are expected to come to the waterfront to watch the show and the Port of San Diego strongly encourages carpooling or taking the San Diego Trolley. Stay tuned for more information about free shuttle and parking locations. Come down to the bay and enjoy the biggest fireworks show in San Diego!

Where to Watch
Parking and Shuttles
The Port of San Diego has set up free parking lots with shuttle service to Harbor Island and Shelter Island. The parking lots will open at 5:30 PM on July 4.
Bus Shuttle Service to Harbor Island
Bus Shuttle Service to Harbor Island begins at 6pm from the Port parking adjacent to the Port Administration building at 3165 Pacific Highway. You will be dropped off at the Harbor Police parking lot off the Rental Car Access Road across from the Sheraton Hotel on Harbor Island Drive. From this drop off and pick up location you can walk to the bay on Harbor Island.
After the show, the bus shuttle service will pick you up at this same location in the Harbor Police parking lot off the Rental Car Access Road. Please be patient as the buses will fill up rapidly but will be making round trips to your car at the Port parking lot off Pacific Highway until 11:00 PM.
