Term 10/23 – 6/25

Todd is originally from Washington State, but after several years moving around, due to his father being in the military, he settled down for a while in Mill Valley, California. Todd moved to San Diego for the first time in 1985 to attend San Diego State University. Right after graduation, Todd started his Hyatt career in 1989 at Hyatt Regency Mission Bay, known then as Hyatt Islandia. During his time at Mission Bay, Todd assisted with the grand opening of the Hyatt Regency La Jolla, which is where he is currently serving as General Manager since his return to San Diego in 2021.

Todd’s Hyatt journey took him from San Diego in 1996 to San Antonio, and from 1996 until 2017, he worked in six additional cities and hotels in various roles in the Rooms Division, and served as Director of Rooms at five locations. His tenure as a General Manager began at Hyatt Regency Long Beach in 2017.

Todd served on the Board for the Incline Village Convention and Visitors Bureau in Lake Tahoe, and also on the Board at the Long Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Todd met and married his wife of 32 years while living in San Diego back in the late 1980’s. They reside in La Jolla with their black lab Riggins. In his spare time Todd enjoys off-roading, hiking, skiing, and playing volleyball.
