North Inland San Diego

Culture That Feels Like Home

North Inland San Diego delivers a cultural experience that makes everyone feel right at home, featuring everything from wine bars to breweries to high-end restaurants to all sorts of places to hike, bike and enjoy the sun, including the San Diego Safari Park.

Natural Artforms

With vast trails and infinite outdoor activities, North Inland is your spot to soak up the sun while enjoying the great outdoors. Stretching approximately 7 miles, Los Peñasquitos Canyon Preserve is a local favorite hiking spot, home to an abundance of natural beauty, including a waterfall. For the watersport enthusiast, Lake Hodges should be added to the itinerary where stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking and sailboarding are to be enjoyed. Also, there is no shortage of animals in North Inland as it is home to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, an 1,800-acre animal sanctuary where animals roam free.

Beer, Wine and Dining Delights

San Diego is a top destination for craft beer with North Inland being in no shortage of some of the region’s best breweries. Home to Second Chance Brewing, Savagewood Brewing Company, Abnormal Beer/Wine Co. and some of San Diego's very best ciderworks—Juneshine and Newtopia Cyder—there is something to excite everyone's palate. If wine is more your fix, then Bernardo Winery is a must. A little slice of the old country, this hidden gem transports you to a quaint hillside vineyard where you can sip on vino while enjoying the village of shops, gardens and restaurants.

Dining in North Inland is a treat, with upscale establishments like Veranda Fireside Lounge at Rancho Bernardo Inn. Get swept away by a beautiful sunset accompanied by delectable eats and live acoustic sets in this gracious outdoor setting overlooking the resorts golf course. For an elevated traditional cuisine, or what they like to call "refined comforts", check out Cork and Craft which is also home to Abnormal Beer/Wine Co.
