Familiar holiday traditions take on a wild twist at the Zoo’s Jungle Bells celebration. The Zoo will be aglow with holiday cheer and decorations, with music filling the air, joyful roaming entertainers, and special food items and sweets available.

Join us on Harbor Drive for the Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Parade. This is one of the largest celebrations of its kind in the United States in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The parade is filled with dazzling floats, phenomenal High School Bands, Drill Teams, Colleges/Universities, Fraternities, Sororities, Churches, Peace and Youth organizations. This year's parade will feature a MLK 5k Walk/Fun Run and Festival. 

Join us for the Annual San Diego Resolution Run 5K, 10K and Half Marathon at Mission Bay on January 11! Enjoy a beautiful course and water views as you wind through Mission Bay. After the run, check out the wellness village with healthy food, offers and products from our partners. All participants will receive a t-shirt, custom finisher’s medal and chip-timed results!
