SeaWorld will celebrate Independence Day with a 15-minute display of fireworks set to a musical soundtrack, starting at 9:40 PM on July 4. Park hours on the Fourth will be 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

All summer long, SeaWorld lights up with Electric Ocean™, a brand new summer nighttime extravaganza that transforms the park into an underwater world of colorful luminescence. Electric Ocean immerses guests in a glowing sea of wonder with bioluminescent-like lighting, a dance club and pathway entertainment. Electric Ocean kicks off June 17 and runs on select dates through Sept. 4.

The Big Bay Boom July 4th Fireworks Show is back, promising another spectacular display over San Diego Bay. Fireworks will be discharged simultaneously from barges placed strategically around the Bay off Shelter Island, Harbor Island, Embarcadero North, Seaport Village, Embarcadero South Marina Park and Coronado Ferry Landing. The impeccably choreographed display will last approximately 17 minutes.

On Sunday, July 9th, San Diego will host the CONCACAF Gold Cup^™ Group C's opening round double-header at Qualcomm Stadium.

Mexico vs. El Salvador

However, after meeting and facing defeat against Mexico twice in Gold Cup history, in 2002 and 2011, El Salvador will look to their rejuvenated team and experienced coach to get Gold Cup revenge on their opponents, in what would be a stunning upset.

Curacao vs. Jamaica

The Caribbean nation of Curacao, in its first-ever Gold Cup appearance, will open the San Diego doubleheader against 2015 Gold Cup finalist Jamaica, in what will be a historic match-up between two Caribbean teams that will showcase the spirit of the countries and the passion for the game in the region.

The annual San Diego LGBT Pride Parade is the 4th largest in the United States attracting over 100,000 cheering spectators and significant media participation.
