The 1st San Diego Aruna Run for Their Freedom is an exciting 5K run/walk for a worthy cause—freeing women from sexual slavery in India.
The race will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 21st, 2017, at the Encinitas Community Park.
Each Aruna Run participant will run for a woman, by name, who is still enslaved to raise awareness of her need of funds to bring freedom. Each participant will also recieve an Athletic Drawstring Backpack made by women who are now free, empowered, and employed! All finishers will also receive an Aruna 2017 finisher medal.
