Regarded as the first major regatta of the year, the San Diego Crew Classic brings together thousands of athletes from more than 100 universities, clubs and high school programs across the United States. Spanning ages 14 – 84, the Crew Classic is a competition for future Olympians as well as for those new to the sport. This event is often a highlight of their competitive rowing careers. The Crew Classic is not only an athletic event with competitors at the peak of physical fitness, but a social gathering for enthusiasts to enjoy great local food, a beer garden with San Diego’s famous local craft breweries, and shopping. The event is held at Mission Bay, just a mile from the Pacific Beach.

San Diego Leprechaun Run is BACK in Pacific Beach!

We are excited to announce that registration is now open for the 5th Annual San Diego Leprechaun Run 5K & Kids 1K on Saturday, March 15th!

The San Diego Bird Alliance invites you to the San Diego Bird Festival, which celebrates the birds and habitats of San Diego County. Our region truly offers some of the best birding in the United States.

In a world where social media and smart devices seem to be taking over, birds are a lovely reminder that the world is full of real experiences. All you need to do is Look Up! 

We hope you will join us for the celebration, and we'll give you plenty of opportunities to "look up" and see the birds of San Diego. Know that your experience is giving something back to the birds: The proceeds of this festival support the education, conservation and sanctuary programs of the San Diego Bird Alliance. Now in Liberty Station, the 3-day celebration features free admission, a number of new attractions, activities, games, food and live entertainment, including, but not limited to, A-list Vietnamese singers and performers, lion dancing, firecrackers and some of our most popular programs, the Miss Vietnam of San Diego pageant, Step-Up Dance and Golden Voice.
