America's Largest Balloon Parade! Marching bands, floats, drill teams and giant balloons parade down San Diego's beautiful waterfront in celebration of the DIRECTV Holiday Bowl.

The 28th annual DIRECTV Holiday Bowl Game Day 5K Run/Walk at the Port of San Diego Holiday Bowl Parade presented by Kaiser Permanente will take place along San Diego’s beautiful harbor front, starting at Harbot and Ash. Athletes will run past thousands of cheering spectators. Runners, families, and spectators can watch the remainder of the parade, which features colorful floats, bands, and huge inflatable characters. All participants receive a finisher medal! Awards are three deep in all divisions.

The DIRECTV Holiday Bowl is excited to host the second annual Bowl Bash in the Gaslamp Quarter of downtown San Diego! The Bowl Bash is a time for fans and locals to gather in the heart of San Diego for FREE family fun, great food, live music, giveaways and more!

Witness a one-of-a-kind performance as the two university bands face off in a Battle of the Bands in the streets of downtown San Diego. This event is FREE for all fans and also features photo booths, interactive games, street performers, food & drink specials from participating restaurants and a photo op with the DIRECTV Holiday Bowl Trophy.
