59 ACRES is a poetic, meditative and innovative work from Los Angeles-based artist Marike Splint offers new ways of seeing and listening as it navigates you through the physical, cultural and geographical landscapes we inhabit, in search of the extraordinary amidst the mundane.

First commissioned by La Jolla Playhouse for the 2024 WOW Festival, 59 ACRES will be available for you to explore and enjoy for free anytime during daylight hours through June 2025.

Explore like a “local” and dine like you lived here, with this fun filled day tour. The idea is to share appetizers at up to five great restaurants listed on your route.
