The Fort Rosecrans Memorial Day celebration is one of San Diego's largest and most celebrated memorials dedicated to our fighting men and women. On this day we honor all of our fallen soldiers and remember them for their ultimate sacrifice to our country.

Adams Avenue Unplugged, a free musical walkabout, takes place April 27th, 2024 along a two-mile stretch of Adams Avenue, from University Heights on the West through Normal Heights, and into parts of Kensington to the East. The event will feature live musical performances staged inside restaurants, bars, coffee houses and galleries lining the neighborhood.

California State Parks invite you to celebrate an old fashioned Fourth of July at Old Town San Diego State Historic Park! Visitors can join park staff and volunteers celebrating as early San Diego residents did in the 1800s with games, crafts, and live music from Big Mountain Blue Grass Band.

Event is free; some activities may require an additional purchase.

Additional parking is available at the CalTrans headquarters, just two blocks from the park at 2994 Sunset Street.
