The San Diego Bird Alliance invites you to the San Diego Bird Festival, which celebrates the birds and habitats of San Diego County. Our region truly offers some of the best birding in the United States.

In a world where social media and smart devices seem to be taking over, birds are a lovely reminder that the world is full of real experiences. All you need to do is Look Up! 

We hope you will join us for the celebration, and we'll give you plenty of opportunities to "look up" and see the birds of San Diego. Know that your experience is giving something back to the birds: The proceeds of this festival support the education, conservation and sanctuary programs of the San Diego Bird Alliance. Join us from March 13-16 for an exciting lineup of special performances, featuring guest acts on March 15 and 16! Come see new attractions, including a wall of lanterns and community art. Bring the whole family for a fun-filled day of including activities in our children's area! Sample a variety of cultural food, or delicious beverages in the popular beer and sake garden, nestled in the lower garden. Don’t miss the chance to shop from our amazing local vendors in the upper garden, and then take a leisurely stroll through the cherry blossom grove. It’s the perfect way to celebrate spring!

The festival will showcase a selection of the best contemporary Jewish-related films. This festival is known to be one of the most prestigious Jewish film festivals in the country.  

Now in Liberty Station, the 3-day celebration features free admission, a number of new attractions, activities, games, food and live entertainment, including, but not limited to, A-list Vietnamese singers and performers, lion dancing, firecrackers and some of our most popular programs, the Miss Vietnam of San Diego pageant, Step-Up Dance and Golden Voice.
