World Design Convocation Ceremony

The WDC Convocation Ceremony is a symbolic event highlighting the official “handover” of the WDC title from WDC San Diego Tijuana 2024 to the next host city. This event is a celebration that includes city officials, World Design Organization leadership, community stakeholders, media, political leadership and WDC 2026 planning team. The ceremony provides WDO with the opportunity to recognize those who contributed to the success of WDC San Diego Tijuana 2024 and share the preliminary findings of the Impact Study.

Downtown Chula Vista Farmers' Market

The Downtown Chula Vista Farmers' Market invites everyone to come out and enjoy bites, sips, and trinkets from local vendors every Sunday from 10am to 2pm. The crisp morning, the warm sun rays, and the friendly vendors allow for a welcoming environment for the community and visitors to join together and have a wonderful time walking along the Downtown Chula Vista Market. Bring home some local produce, baked goods, fresh flowers, salsa, and much more. There are over 60 tents to explore next to the beautiful Memorial Park, so stop by next Sunday!

This California Certified farmers’ market is operated by the Downtown Chula Vista Association in cooperation with farmer’s market veteran Catt Fields White and San Diego Markets.
