Maritime Museum of San Diego partners with San Diego Pirate Adventures to bring to you this Pirate - themed Bay cruise and 90-minute performance staged aboard the Spanish galleon replica San Salvador. 

Guests will be fully engaged in pirate theatrics at the dock and underway on San Diego Bay. Upcoming 2024 performance dates, with two shows available select Saturdays starting at 10:30 a.m. and 12:45 p.m.

Celebrate silly, not-too-spooky fun at The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular at Sesame Place!

This October Halloween Aglow returns to Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UC San Diego for two nights of Halloween fun with an educational twist. The event takes place October 25 and 26 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Modeled after Oceans at Night, the aquarium’s popular adults-only event, Halloween Aglow celebrates the wonders and mysteries of the ocean after dark in a fun family-friendly atmosphere. After the sun goes down, the aquarium will transform into a glowing nightscape featuring live music, a costume contest and trick-or-treat stations. Hausmann Concerts at Maritime Museum of San Diego Offer a Unique Mix of Music on the Water.

The Hausmann Quartet and Maritime Museum of San Diego partner to present the ninth season of Haydn Voyages: Music at the Maritime, a quarterly concert series performed aboard one of the Museum’s historic world-class vessels, the 1898 steam ferryboat Berkeley that operated for 60 years on San Francisco Bay.  All concerts are Sundays at 2:30, and include an intermission for a total length of under two hours. Each creative program will also include informative and entertaining commentary between selections from noted UC Santa Barbara musicologist Derek Katz.
