San Diego horse racing takes place where the "turf meets the surf" at the Del Mar Racetrack. Fans flock to the track each summer to wager on their favorite horses during the popular, annual Del Mar Racetrack racing season, mid-July - early-September. Be part of the magic and nostalgia of this long-time horse race tradition dating back to 1937 when Bing Crosby greeted the first guests, and Seabiscuit won by a nose in the infamous race in 1938. This season features the nation's top racehorses, trainers and jockeys, and plenty of fun in the sun.

FantaSEA of Dreams Fireworks Spectacular takes place in the skies high above SeaWorld San Diego. As the sun sets and the night sky comes alive, you’ll be treated to a dazzling display of color, beloved music from Believe, and lyrics created just for SeaWorld. Shows nightly.End your day at SeaWorld with a spectacular fireworks presentation! All firework shows happen 10 minutes until closing.

A spectacular free July 4th fireworks display at the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center, set to a custom soundtrack heard only on Magic 92.5.

Gates to the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center (CVEATC) open at 7 p.m. for public viewing. Firework display begins at 9 p.m. The event is free, open to the public, and all ages. Food trucks will be on site. Parking is FREE; only 600 parking spots on CVEATC campus and adjacent New Hope Church parking lot.
