Upstairs Mezzanine at Thorn Barrio Logan
At Thorn Barrio Logan, we just opened up a gorgeous event space on our mezzanine that overlooks our whole production brewery. This upstairs space can hold anywhere from 60-80 people with flexible seating and table arrangement. Your guests will enjoy beer from our bar upstairs with 4 taps and for private events, we serve red and white wine from Fallbrook Winery, a local vintner (both locations can serve wine at private events). Thorn Brewing Co. in Barrio Logan is a beautiful tasting room and 30-barrel brewery. Come and enjoy the spacious tasting room and taste more than 15 rotating beers. Thorn is dog and family-friendly (before 8 pm) and features a variety of styles to fit anyone's taste in beer.
Thorn Brewing Co. started out as Thorn Street Brewery in North Park which was North Park's first brewery in 2012. On that 7-barrel system, they built up a strong following of beer lovers and Thorn fans which allowed them to expand into the much larger production facility and tasting room in Barrio Logan as well as start to can their beers in 2017. Thorn North Park is still going strong with 15 rotating beers on tap daily and food trucks nightly. Both locations are family-friendly before 8 pm and also dog-friendly.
Thorn North Park also has a large room in the back that fits 50-60 seated comfortably that can be reserved for private parties. Email events@thorn.beer for more info.
In July of 2019, Thorn Mission Hills opened up at 4026 Hawk Street. It offers 15 rotating taps, an outdoor patio, merch, and beer-to-go, and, like the other tasting rooms, it's dog-friendly.
