Affordable, Entertaining Diverse in varied spaces

Touted as "San Diego's Premiere Contemporary Dance Company" by Dance Spirit Magazine stellar dancers in works by diverse choreographers.  

The PGK Dance Project is a premiere contemporary dance company established in 1994 by Peter G. Kalivas between Munich, Germany and New York City, and San Diego-based since 2002. In residence at Culture Shock Dance Center of San Diego, the multi-ethnic company is composed of highly skilled professional dancers performing the work of award-winning Director/Choreographer Peter G. Kalivas and a wide variety of commissioned choreographers of today. Over the past 22 years, The PGK Dance Project has danced on stages and alternate spaces around the world in Europe, Central and South America, Central Asia, Asia and Australia and as a Cultural Envoy of the U.S. State Department's Bureau of Education and Culture.
