Formed in 1965, The San Diego Watercolor Society (SDWS) is a broad-based nonprofit art organization promoting the appreciation of and involvement in watermedia painting. With over 700 members, SDWS operates a 4,000 square foot gallery, Education Center and Art Store located in The ARTS DISTRICT Liberty Station in the Point Loma area of San Diego. Ninety-five new original juried paintings are for sale each month. Beginner lessons and Advanced Workshops are held monthly and are open to all.
