Join us on Dec. 1 and 2 for the City of San Diego's largest free holiday festival in beautiful Balboa Park. The family friendly event brings San Diegans together to enjoy the lights, the sounds, the attractions and of course, the amazing food.

Join us for a meet and greet with all of our past and future vendors from our Shop the B.L.A.C SD market. We will be providing food samples and drinks for all guests as we walk you through our 2025 plans for upcoming Shop the B.L.A.C markets here at the Cafe!

The Fleet Science Center invites guests who would benefit from a sensory-friendly experience to Accessibility Mornings. On the third Saturday of every month, visitors can enjoy admission to the exhibit galleries in a quieter setting, an hour before the museum opens to the public, and a special film screening with house lights on and a lower soundtrack volume. Visitors are welcome to stay and enjoy the museum all day.

We are proud to announce the seventh San Diego Latinx New Play Festival will take place at La Jolla Playhouse, October 4 – 6, 2024.

The Latinx New Play Festival expands the presence of Latinx stories and artists on the American stage, and spotlights the broad range of today’s Latinx experience. Four scripts will be selected to be rehearsed and developed at the Playhouse, culminating in a live public reading at the festival.

The festival will be free for everyone to attend, and will include a schedule of in-person readings of new works, panel discussions and other events.
