The Lodge at Torrey Pines is an AAA Five Diamond rated resort set atop the scenic cliffs of Torrey Pines State Beach in La Jolla, California. This Craftsman-style property features more than 20,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, with 13 on-site venues complemented by two unique off-site options: a replica of a 19th-century Mississippi riverboat and a privately owned classic car museum.
The Lodge at Torrey Pines’ Executive Chef Jeff Jackson brings a mastery of market-driven seasonal cooking to every dish, while an experienced event team provides first-rate event planning and execution. High-speed Wi-Fi, large workspaces and room safes are included in all 170 guest rooms and suites. Additional property features include a full-service spa, outdoor pool, fitness center and two restaurants.
The Lodge Experience
The property features more than 20,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space. The Lodge’s largest indoor venue, the Maurice Braun Ballroom, hosts up to 469 guests at once, while those seeking a more cozy space can opt for areas as small as the Hughes Cottage with a maximum occupancy of 18. Ten additional indoor spaces range in size from 300 to 3,250 square feet with the option to combine areas for larger occasions.
Outdoors, The Lodge’s Arroyo Terrace delivers 10,000 square feet of natural elegance and is ideal for occasions ranging from banquets to weddings and beyond. Offsite but easily accessible, The Lodge also offers groups use of the 3,200 square foot William D. Evans Sternwheeler, a replica of a 19th-century Mississippi riverboat that cruises San Diego’s Mission Bay, and the Evans Garage, a privately owned museum featuring a collection of classic and antique cars and period pieces centered around a gorgeously decorated king’s table.
