ArtWalk Summer Series at Liberty Station
Brought to you by the same producers of ArtWalk Liberty Station, which fills Point Loma's Ingram Plaza with art every August, ArtWalk San Diego’s Summer Series is a more intimate experience...
Whatever you are looking for, Liberty Station has it. Whether it’s brushing up on the local art scene, catching the latest dance performance or a must-see movie, even grabbing dinner and drinks with friends. One thing is clear, Liberty Station is where San Diego lives. It’s always changing, evolving and inviting guests to explore all the things that make it unique. This is the place where artists can showcase their craft in art, performance, design, fashion, culinary deliciousness, and more. It is a hub for growth, innovation, and inspiration promoting connection, creativity and community.
ARTS DISTRICT Liberty Station has rich history coupled with spectacular surroundings that will make your event memorable. Located at the north end of San Diego Bay, this served as the site of the Naval Training Center San Diego from 1923 to 1993. We have indoor and outdoor venues for seminars, conferences, festivals, car shows, receptions, weddings, memorials, performances, rehearsals, change-of-command ceremonies and retirements.
The McMillin Companies Event Center
The former base library is now a 8,700 square feet including a 15'x20' screen and theatre projector, seating and dance floor. Just outside the event center is the 40,000 square foot Central Promenade.
Dick Laub NTC Command Center
Now an Executive Conference Center. There are four meeting rooms, a boardroom, and spacious foyer. Off the rear of the building is the Friendship Terrace and a few steps further is the historic Sybil Stockdale Rose Garden.
Ingram Plaza
A 100,000 square feet and the North Promenade is 70,000 square feet. Both these private parks allow events with bars and are free of many of the constraints of public parks.
Dance Place San Diego
Has studios with top quality flooring/surfaces, a green room and dressing rooms for rehearsals or performances. The performance groups that use these studios can provide you with entertainment resources.
The North Chapel
Stained glass windows, vaulted ceilings and a pipe organ are unique aspects of this building making it ideal for classified meetings, general sessions and performances.
ARTS DISTRICT Liberty Station is the flagship project of NTC Foundation, a non-profit organization that also leases out space in its efforts to establish a center for arts and culture.
