The Davis-Horton House, built in 1850, is the oldest house in San Diego's Historic Gaslamp Quarter. There are house tours available every day but Monday. Walk inside and you will be transported back to the Victorian Era, where each room represents a different period and function. You can experience the feeling of sailing back through time and living the way early San Diegans did.
We are glad you considering the Davis-Horton House and Park for your event. The park is available to established clubs, organizations, corporations, business conventions and private individuals. The Park is a beautiful shady respite within the Gaslamp District. It is a venue unlike any other downtown. The addition of the Davis-Horton House and/or Museum Gallery gives your event that little something extra guests always remember.
There are three spaces available to rent. The House, Museum Gallery, and Pocket Park can be rented in combination or individually. Each space has different capacities and rules. Please remember that the House operates first and foremost as a Museum. We request that you keep in mind that the House contains valuable antiques as well as expensive equipment.
Park Maximum Capacity: 75 people. House and Park rental allows for more people.
Event Hours: The Gaslamp Museum is happy to work with you to accomodate most times.
