“FLY ME TO THE MOON: An Evening with Legends, Honoring Apollo 11 and Featuring Buzz Aldrin,” marks the 55th anniversary of mankind’s first moon landing. This special event will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at the San Diego Air & Space Museum. The Apollo 11 landing on July 20, 1969, remains a historic milestone in space exploration. Attendees will hear from American legends: original Moonwalker Buzz Aldrin, Apollo 16 Moonwalker and Apollo 11 CAPCOM Charlie Duke, and Legacy Apollo Flight Director Gerry Griffin. This event, hosted by the International Air & Space Hall of Fame and the San Diego Air & Space Museum, offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to create lasting memories. Join us for the chance to hear in-person from these American heroes.
