A 21+ After-Hours Event

From all things curious, wacky, mad, and wise, join us at the Secret Society of Adultologists: Wonderland for a 21+ after-hours event for our very merry 150th un-birthday party.

Disappear down a rabbit hole of bizarre fun with our scientists, artistic souls, and green-thumbed gardeners. Explore all exhibits, sip on craft cocktails and beer potions, indulge in fantastical food from local San Diego restaurants, and dance the night away with local musicians that will leave you grinning like the Cheshire cat. Bring your best top hat, pocket watch, or whimsy attire, you won't want to be late for this very important date. 

$45 for non-members, $35 for members.

Tickets include access to all exhibits, activities,and entertainment. Drinks and food are available for purchase.

The Museum's sensory-friendly quiet hours are held every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. This time is dedicated to creating a calmer, quieter museum experience. We remain open to the public during this time, and all are welcome to visit the Museum.

During this time, specific exhibit features in the main Museum building will be turned off to minimize audio and visual stimulation. Noise-blocking headphones are free for check-out at the main Admissions desk and the entrance to the Cannibals: Myth & Reality exhibition.

Exhibit features in the Cannibals: Myth & Reality exhibit will remain on, and all exhibits will be fully turned on at 11 a.m. Admission purchased during sensory-friendly quiet hours is the same as standard admission and applies to the entire day.

Reverberating Notes, an Art Exhibition

The San Diego Watercolor Society proudly presents “Reverberating Notes”, juried by award-winning artist, Danny Greigo. The water-based media exhibition runs June 30 to July 27, 2024, at our Gallery in The ARTS DISTRICT Liberty Station. The Opening Reception is Friday, July 5, 5-8pm with over 95 ready-to-hang original paintings plus refreshments and the fellowship of other art enthusiasts. The Gallery is open Weds-Sun, 11am – 3pm.  The paintings can also be viewed and purchased online.  Please visit www.sdws.org for more information.

Classes are held in the Museum’s historic rotunda by yoga instructor, Lunita Velásquez. The evening classes promote relaxation and restoration by strengthening the mind-body connection with deep stretching, breathwork, and a welcoming space.
