Eclectic, Fun, but Authentic, El Chingon is a “Bad Ass” Mexican Restaurant & Bar Revolution in San Diego’s Historic Gaslamp Quarter. We feature Mexican classics, like tacos and burritos, additional “bad ass” options, such as corn wheels covered in flaming hot cheetos and Bad Ass Fries, and focusing on quality tequila cocktails.
Inspired by Pancho Villa and the pistoleros of the Mexican Revolution, El Chingon is a new (bad ass) concept in the San Diego Gaslamp. With an exciting menu featuring some Mexican classics, we will serve only the best of the best when it comes to ingredients and spirits.
Nothing makes great Mexican food better than a little something to quench your thirst! Aside from our curated selection of tequilas, mezcales and sotoles, we’ve carefully crafted a drink menu that is great for large groups, corporate or social gatherings. Mezzanine, completely private space with a max of 40 guests standing with either family style dinner or buffet station, and a main dining area for sit down dinner for up to 35 guests. Enjoy a fully private venue for up to 150 guests!
